Military Standard TestingFungal Resistance (MIL-STD) |
A subset of this standard MIL-STD 810g 508 requires antifungal properties of the material to resist the growth and potential detriment due to fungi.
The MIL-STD 810/508 test Method comprises the use of several fungi, and testing in an enclosed, environmentally controlled chamber.
Situ Biosciences are expert in testing for MIL-STD 810g, and providing the comprehensive report and documentation required for approval of the tested product.
Depending on the material being tested, an appropriate ASTM method can be substituted in the development process as a more cost effective means of developing a new product that will ultimately require MIL STD testing.
