Microbiological Laboratory and Testing for Industry and Retailers |
Today's antimicrobial product needs extend beyond basic product testing.
Our mission is to provide innovative microbial testing and formulation development, for suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers of material and products with microbial properties.
Over thirty years of experience in microbiology and antimicrobial new molecule discovery, formulation development, regulatory oversight, and laboratory testing.
Our Laboratory
A modern microbiology and analytical laboratory with over 1200 sq feet of space located near Chicago, IL. We support testing for nearly all microorganisms and specialize in the testing of antimicrobials for bacteria, fungi and algae.
Dr. Don Satchell - Manager and Technology Director
Has worked in the
field of formulation development and microbial chemistries for over 19 years.

Mold and mildew are a class of microorganism commonly known as fungi.
Frequently seen in damp, warm and dark spaces with growth on nearly any untreated surface.
Mold commonly cause malodors, slime or film, and staining.
There are many aspects to any given microbial issue.
Antimicrobials and biocides help to prevent and fix problem microorganisms, but the foundation of the product, application, or process must be sound.

A contaminated environment will have numerous types of fungi present. The environment and material type will determine if a product is susceptible to a given fungi.
To fully remediate, address the environmental issues first and then the moisture and fungal growth to fix a contamination issue.
