ISO 22196 Antimicrobial Plastics Test
A common screen test for plastics, ISO 22196 is used in a wide range of industries. Based off of the JIS Z2801, ISO 22916 is a 24 hour test that measures antibacterial activity on plastic surfaces. Antimicrobial durability testing is often done in tandem with ISO 22916.
ASTM G21 Antifungal Testing for Plastics and Foam
ASTM G21 is a standard antifungal test for interior and exterior plastic and polymeric materials. ASTM G21 is used for foams, vinyl, gaskets, rubber stoppers and exterior products like siding, shingles, pool covers and polymeric coatings. ASTM G21 is a minimum 28 day test.
AATCC 100 Antimicrobial Textile Test
AATCC 100 is a quantitative test of antimicrobial finishes on textiles. Standard AATCC 100 antimicrobial testing is done vs. Staph and E. coli. TM 100 is often used to assess textiles treated with antimicrobial products as a part of the finished textile coating.
From raw materials and manufacturing to finished product performance through biodegradation, compost disposal testing and durability studies, we have the expertise to guide products to market.
