The Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)

Toxic Substances Control Act is a United Stated federal law that passed in 1976.  It is administered by the US Environment Protection agency, which regulates new and existing chemicals.

Toxic Substances Control Act and the Pollution Prevention Act together facilitate EPA evaluation for potential risks from new and existing chemicals.  These evaluations are aimed at finding ways to prevent or reduce pollution before the chemical is in the environment.

Situ Biosciences LLC provides testing services for required testing that focuses on Physical and Chemical Properties, Environmental Effects, Environmental Fate, and Aquatic Toxicology.

Projects are conducted according to EPA TSCA GLP requirements as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations, 40 CFR 792.
