Certified Reference Material for ASTM G21 – Antifungal Test
This product includes the world’s first Certified Reference Materials (CRM) designed for use as a Test Control in performance of the standard ASTM G21-15 test method. Each unit consists of a sample set of both Positive (orange) and Negative (white) Test Controls intended to guarantee the highest quality of antimicrobial method performance available and verify proper ISO 17025 test performance.
CRMs are innovative reference standards developed from decades of antimicrobial testing expertise in the global market and are accredited to the ISO 17034 standard. This accreditation requires establishing Certified Values through ISO 17025 accredited method performance.
ASTM G21-15 is a standard, globally recognized, antifungal product test for determining the fungal resistance of plastics and polymeric materials. The method can be utilized to test the antifungal performance of many products, including textiles and foams.

Certified Values for this product are derived through a visual assessment of fungal growth on the test sample – Utilizing the scale defined in ASTM G21-15.
Scores may range from 0 to 4 on this scale, with a lower score indicating more antifungal performance.
